Remember who you are

with the help of Horses & Nature

Serge Simonet

Serge Simonet

With the assistance of Horses and Nature, I accompany you on your path of re-connection to who you truly are and what you came here to do in this world (your so-called "soul purpose").

The presence and vibration of Horses and Nature carry subtle healing energies that naturally smooth the wounds of the heart and help us remember our true essence.

When we listen and are ourselves present, open and receptive, we can hear them whisper the messages of wisdom and guidance they genuinely offer to help us on our journey.

I create the safe space allowing you to open up, experiment this encounter, and acknowledge and heal what needs be. I help you decode messages and can act as interpret in the dialogue if need be.

Once you feel connected to your essence and have clarity on your soul path, I can accompany you in the process of grounding and actualizing it.

My vision - grounded spirituality

LANTERNfinish1DLOWE.jpg

"We are spiritual beings living a human experience".

Concretely,  this means that we are much more than what we perceive through our traditional senses, i.e. what we see,  hear,  touch.... Our reality is much more vast. Each of us are one of the infinite forms through which Life, or the Divine, expresses itself in matter.

We have forgotten who we are and moved away from our true nature.  By taking this human incarnation here on Earth we have inherited layers of covers and structures that progressively walled up the personal and  unique expression of  life, the light, that we are. Pretty much like a lantern buried under covers giving a sense from the outside that the light inside is weak, small, almost inexistant. But the light is still there, intact, it is the covers that cloud it. It is the same for us, we have lost the sense of connection with this light that we are.

Feeling lost, we have built a compensatory world where we pretend to be able to live without this sense of connection. And at the same time we desperately attempt to find ourselves again through circumstances and experiences that we create in our lives such as our relationships, our physical body,  our performance,  our achievements etc,

But this is a vain journey,  because it is compensatory and external, in the appearance. It is at the periphery. What matters is inside, this re-connection with this light, with our innate nature, which is in essence vibratory.

When we open up to this dimension - particularly through the body - changes start to occur in our life, at our core. It is "just" about opening up, letting ourselves be carried, letting ourselves be touched.

One of the biggest constraints on our life force is all the concepts and the narratives through which we attempt to define, understand, and explain our reality with our logical mind. Not only does it not free us nor help us fundamentally, it creates a screen that further distance us from experiencing our innate nature, potentially re-enforcing our sense of separation.

Healing is essentially a process of freedom. It is a process of re-opening, of undoing these different layers that cover up the light that we are. A process of liberating our light from its imprisonment. We can do it from the outside, from the inside, or both. From the outside, we address and resolve the physical, psychological and emotional patterns that constitute these covers. From the inside, we open up and let our light grow and expand so much that it dissolves all these covers under which it is buried.

Both approaches are critically important, needed and complementary.

The approach from the inside is the field of the Horses and of Nature. This is the field where they are inviting us to meet and heal. In this encounter, we can directly experience that not only are we never separated, but we are one with all that is, part of the same field and inter-connected.

As we progress through this process of healing, we can  more and more express in matter, in a very concrete way, the innate qualities that our true nature possesses. That which makes us unique, and make our contribution to this world unique and irreplaceable - our "soul Purpose", the reason of our presence on Earth.

About my journey

IIn the midst of a very successful career as a Senior Manager in a multinational corporation,  I came to the realization - through a personal crisis as it often happens - that I was carrying along a lot of unresolved bags of past hurts, fears, shame and sadness that made me feel flawed, in-adapted and unlovable. Not only did I feel unhappy, but I largely spread that  around me in my family, my relationships, my work .....  and clearly got myself in my own way of  running a meaningful, happy and flourishing life.

My path out of this has been - and continues to be - a journey of self-discovery, peace,  respect and progressive congruence with who I truly am. I learned to connect, understand and care for myself. To find my inner peace. To gradually align to my "Soul Purpose", this sense of why I am here for and what sort of positive contribution I could make to this world.

On this path I encountered wounds and trauma, but also conditioning, beliefs (false and limiting, about myself and the world), opinions and judgements from others, mainstream culture, doubts and fear of encountering oneself authentically, fear of failing, fear of "getting it all wrong"..

l also encountered pure joy, bliss, freedom, peace and authentic love.

Spirituality has proven to be a great -  and very patient - travel companion. Not religion, but this type of grounded spirituality that connects us to "something" broader than us. A bigger picture, a larger perspective where things can start to make sense somehow.

Progressively, I allowed myself to re-connect to the high sensitivity that I had as a child, this ability to sense things, energies, people, trees, animals and this sort of common magic field weaved by and through all forms of life. I allowed myself be touched by them and by my life experiences. Quite a journey as I had tried so hard and for so long to numb and hide this sensitivity that I perceived as a flaw and a big stumbling block on my way to a successful and happy life in the "grown-up" world.

I gradually reconnected with my dreams and passions as a child : nature and horses. I have the chance now to live with them and day after day, they continue to help me heal, open my heart, unveil and express the best version of myself.

Throughout the years, I met great people who played for me the critical role of "beacons of light", helping me stay on course through the traps and challenges. I left the corporate world and now in turn I offer my experience and support to those taking on a similar journey.

I have a certification in Systemic Coaching, in Neuro-cognitive & Behavioural Approach (ANC), I am trained in Family & Systems Constellations and in Hosres Assisted Systemic Coaching (HASC), and a long pratice inTransactional Analysis,  in Enneagram in in Zen buddhism in the tradition of the Vietnamese Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

I also work in organisations where I help identify and remove human related roadblocks in the way of their performance and growth.
